This blog was inspired by my first cup of coffee in a long time during our most recent vacation in 2012 to Door County, Wisconsin. In actuality, I had spent a lot of time researching fun things to do with our dog Porter while on this vacation. We have taken him on a few vacations in our life, but sometimes there aren't dog friendly options and he gets left behind with relatives.

As all dog lovers know, our pets are part of our family. Porter brings joy and laughter to our life at home and we miss him terribly when we're away. It's only right that he should come along with us on our trips! So this blog will follow our adventures at home and on the road with Porter. Hope it inspires you to plan fun activities with your pets.
